Our Mission
Chrono Israel Tours was founded by licensed tour guide Avi Abrams not just to be another generic Israel tour provider, but to teach the story of the Bible and the story of the Jewish People through an immersive guiding experience.
While every Israel tour itinerary is fascinating, it usually involves a wide variety of archaeologic sites, national parks, holy places, and modern Israeli cities. In doing so, you end up visiting Israel out of order from the historical timeline. All the places you visit become like a puzzle. Chrono Israel Tours, however, has recognized that there's a higher purpose in guiding groups through the Holy Land, and that is using the experience to teach a story, the greatest story that's ever been told...

Today, more than ever, when enemy countries are funding global misinformation campaigns to delegitimize the Jewish state and detach it from its Biblical and historical roots in the Holy Land, the urgency has never been greater to teach the story of Israel to the next generation. At Chrono Israel Tours, we take it upon ourselves to teach that story by touring in the chronological order of Biblical history, understanding what happened to Jews who remained in the Holy Land over the centuries, and follow the miraculous return of a people to its land in modern times. Through touring in chronological order, our participants experience the Promised Land not just as a beautiful place to visit, but as a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy!

Meet Avi Abrams
I was born and raised in the Jewish community of Montreal, Canada. A grandson of Holocaust survivors, I was always interested in family history and exploring the roots of my people. After a spiritual awakening while backpacking in Israel during the summer of 2005, I started becoming more observant of my Jewish faith. In college, I served in leadership roles for Hillel on Campus, advocating for Israel and showcasing Jewish cultural identity. In 2008, I graduated from McGill University, earning a B.A. double major in Political Science and Middle East Studies.
After college, I focused my attention on Jewish scholarship in yeshivot (Torah institutions) in Canada, the United States, and Israel. From all the subjects I learned, I felt most drawn to the Tanach (Bible) and Jewish history. I realized I wanted to turn my passion for the story of the Jewish People into a full time profession. Thus in 2012, I packed my bags and made Aliyah (moved to Israel) where I enrolled in tour guide school. After two years of lectures, 85 field trips around the country with Israel's top historians and archaeologists, I took the government exam and became a licensed tour guide.
For over a decade, I've had the privilege to guide groups and families around this unbelievable country, from the northern mountains of the Galilee to the southern deserts of the Negev, from the bustling commercial center of Tel Aviv, to the holy city of Jerusalem. Doing business as Avi Abrams Israel Tours, the company has evolved to become Chrono Israel Tours.
Aside from guiding and tour planning, I'm also a published author on Aish.com, the world's largest Jewish content website. For those who can't make it to Israel yet, I conduct online virtual tours for various groups. I also offer Jewish history courses and lectures to schools, student organizations, synagogues and churches.
I'm married with three children and am very grateful to my Creator. I enjoy connecting with all types of people and look forward to meeting you as well in the near future!
